"From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the Lord..." This is the first verse of Jonah chapter 2. In a state of turmoil and distress. In the heart of pain and despair, Jonah cried out to God. ...and God listened. There is one thing I know about God - He cares. One thing that is true about the Almighty - He is compassionate. He is faithful to love and faithful to forgive. In the "deep realm of the dead" (as Jonah calls it)?? Pray to the Lord. He hears.
